R-Ex was invited by Women Leading in AI to make a robotic drawing installation during their annual conference at the Microsoft Reactor. Our robot Nachito was drawing during the WLinAI annual conference based on participants input. User semantic input is mediated by two interconnected machine learning models using. Predictions are then translated into robotic motion.

24 – 26 October 2019

Alicia Nahmad, will be part of the team running the workshop  ‘Architectural Geometry and Machine Learning Mashup’ during ACADIA 2019 with Vishu Bhooshan, Shajay Bhooshan and Federico Borello (ZHACODE). The workshop explores the synergies between geometry based reasoning – friendly to the designers-  and reasoning based on observed ground truths – friendly to machine learning and AI technologies.
